Good point... I can imagine not noticing the difference between
[[link#anchor]] and [[link|#sequence]].

Using only a single "br?dg?rd", we get [[link|#]] which is also a bit
close to e.g. [[link#a]] (the anchor is called 'a' here).

The situation might be improved by requiring a space

	[[link#a]] v.s. [[link | #]]

but I'm not sure we want that.

Here's another idea, what if we use '[[# link]]' instead? One advantage is
the similarity to

	# Enumerated list item

Are there any drawbacks to this?

Oh, wait... a link to an anchor on the current page is done as
'[[#anchor]]', never mind :-( At least no one else has to come up with
this idea again.

Btw, the current solution (where [[http://...]] is rendered as [1]) isn't 
very good for new users. I just came across an example of where (I think)
someone was expecting [[http://some.url]] to simply become a link.
