Well, the 2.0 releases are still "development releases", and although
they're reasonably stable (and many people are now starting to run
the 2.0 version) they're not official yet.

Also, note that 2.0 is a significant rewrite of 1.0, so it's not just
"drop the tarball on top of an existing installation" as it is for other
upgrades.  You can see 2.0 in action (along with a list of its new 
features) at http://www.pmwiki.org/pmwiki2/pmwiki.php.

The 2.0 development versions are available at 
http://www.pmwiki.org/pub/pmwiki-devel.  I probably do need to change
the Download+Install docs on PmWiki 1 to let people know about PmWiki 2
and where to obtain it instead.
