I think that Microsoft is the primary implementor of this RFC as they 
describe on MSDN, in IIS 4+, MS Outlook Express, and in MSIE 5+ (which, 
sadly, retains 85% marketshare and probably will for another decade).

The Content-Disposition header helps the browser to know whether to try 
at displaying the contents in the window, or whether to save to disk, 
i.e. "download" and not try displaying (even tho its mimetype could be).
