I use two versions: 6 (MX), for its laxer cross-domain security model and 7
(MX2004) for the extra features. The latest versions of each, of course. I
have it on my to-do list anyway, to do a Flash applet at least for editing
(if not for the entire interface), that would handle a lot of stuff like
content positioning, reducing bandwidth, and interaction for things like
the WikiDraw recipe. I know it's a rather big project, but I'll get there
one way or another, sooner or later :)

OK, so you would not use it. I never said everyone should :) You could
probably build a dhtml version anyway.

I beg to differ. Preformatting is called such because it is left at the
latitude of the author. Some people want to have their text show up just as
they lay it down, spacing, relative positioning and all. If you want
window-wrapping, you can use normal text. Here we're talking about doing
tricks that would simplify the life of the author trying to preformat after
pasting from other sources, that's all.
