[pmwiki-users] Override extendmarkups?

How do I override $RecentChangesFmt in extendmarkups.php?

I want to include $LastModifiedHost in the recentchanges.
I've got what I want in my config.php but extendmarkups seems to take
precendence so I have had to make an edited local version of extendmarkups
and edit/update that local version, leavng my edits in, when a new update of
extendmarkups comes out.
