[pmwiki-users] 2.0 beta 19 Installation problem

hi,

My host php implementation requires php
to operate/execute under cgi (if that makes 
sense) and therefore requires the first line 
of the file to be:

#!usr/local/bin/php 

read it here:
http://www.hkhosting.com/instructions/php.shtml



I edited pmwiki.php to include that line.
However, browse to pmwiki.php lists a liternary 
of errors, example:

http://www.hksdf.org.hk/wiki/pmwiki.php

wiki.d is created manually, chmod 777 is
not permitted, as host instruction.


My directory info is:

Being a non-techie, I guess it a path problem?
Without changing provider, any ideas to get PmWiki 
working with the host?
