[pmwiki-users] wiki.d "not an accessible directory"

I'm trying to update from 1.0.13 to 2.0.10, but I get an error messages
saying that wiki.d "is not an accessible directory" when I try to add this
code to local/config.php

include_once("$FarmD/scripts/compat1x.php");
UseV1WikiD("/path/to/pmwiki1/wiki.d");

Am I doing something wrong?
