A nice guess too. :-)

Well. The port system for FreeBSD makes it easy to install and upgrade 
software. It tracks dependencies (eg pmwiki depends on at least php and 
apache to run) and places the files from the software distributions in 
the correct places for the FreeBSD file hierarchy.

Not that downloading and installing pmwiki is especially difficult, but 
having an updated port is quite handy for FreeBSD users.

I was hoping that maybe someone of the people who reads this list is an 
advanced FreeBSD-user, a bit more advanced than me, that have knowledge 
in how to make/maintain ports and have the time to take over from the 
previous maintainer. If I knew how, I would have taken care of it 
myself. I don't think I have enough willpower and time to learn how to 
do it right now.
