Hate to pitch in here on this topic, but with the various capabilities
now available in zap is another blogging module really necessary?

ZAP not only makes all the data input for blogs easy, but it has full
support for timestamps, including timestamp to string and string to
timestamp features. Plus with its checktime conditional you can list
just posts for the last 24 hours or whatever.

I haven't yet done up a full ZAP blog mockup but everything is there.
Not to mention full commenting capabilities that work quite
powerfully. Rather than separate pages zap actually separates form
from comment, so you can completely update how your comments display
by simply modifiying a groupfooter or pagelist template. If you have
not looked at ZAP you might want to consider it.

ZAP also has a templating feature which enables you to fully template
both blogs and comments very easily, much like the ADL recipe.

Cheers,
Caveman
