I agree. With #1 we can, if we want, have the search results display
in a different page, while, with #2 leaving the current behavior but
define some special behavior for that page/group/etc.

Hmm, some possable names: destination, results, page, post-to... but I
don't really like any of them. Anyone else

Well, this would be the template for the search results, so have it
work the same as pagelist templates which I didn't find with a quick
look at the documentation index.
