I might be getting slightly off topic here, but I often like the slashdot 
convention of automatically adding [domain] after a link. The reason I 
like it is because it clearly indicates it's an exernal link, and the 
domain tells you were it's going.

This should be an optional feature of course, and probably something that
you enable on a per-page basis with some directive. Just thought I'd
mention this while on this topic.
