To set a password on a wiki group, you set the passwords on a special 
page in each group called "GroupAttributes".

Go to the attributes page for GroupAttributes by entering a URL like:

  http://www.example.com/pmwiki.php?n=GroupName.GroupAttributes 
action=attr.

Then, using the form, you can set or clear the read, edit, upload and 
attr passwords for the entire group.

You then set the group's home page to @nopass using the same action=attr 
method used above.
