I used to have a GoDaddy account until very recently.  I installed 
PmWiki myself, but then when I noticed that they added it as a value 
app, I tested it out and the install worked fine.  I would be surprised 
if it hadn't.  The main downside is that you have no control over 
upgrades: you only get to upgrade when they upgrade you, unless you do 
it yourself.

P.S.  I ended up going with dreamhost to get more control (shell 
access), the ability to host additional (unlimited) domains without 
paying anything extra, and more space, etc, for less money (with a 
discount code, about $22 for a year).
