Ah well... Xoops didn't fare as well as Joomla in a comparison that one 
of the speakers made (who isn't a Joomla programmer, he's just a book 
author who's published various books, and he was actually quite critical 
about Joomla).

For those who can read German, you can see his slides at

For those who can't, there are the key points:
* Page 4 lists the numbers of hits for the various CMS systems
   (Google queries were "Mambo CMS", "Drupal CMS", etc., without the
   quotes)
* Page 21 has a comparison for blogging features.
* Page 22 has a comparison for corporations.
* Page 23 compares for online communities.

Xoops actually comes off pretty well, but he found it lacking in a few 
features, too.

(Oh, and if you ever have an opportunity to hear Hagen Graf live, go and 
attend. He has an outrageous tongue-in-cheek humor; his presentation was 
not just informative but funny, too.)
