Part of it is also that many of the recipes in the Cookbook
predate the use of the standard >>recipeinfo<< header that
we adopted last March, and some even predate the existence
of categories.

So, ideally we'd go through the existing set of recipes
and update them to use the correct recipeinfo format.
Alternatively, and this is what I suspect will happen,
we'll switch to an entirely category-based index, and the
uncategorized recipes will simply "drop out" of the list.
That will help us to find the outdated/obsolete recipes and
arrange for them to get moved out of the Cookbook.

I totally agree, that's why I've been wanting to get
an updated pagelist so that we can automatically generate
the index based on metadata instead of manually maintaining
the Cookbook.Cookbook page as we do now.  :-)
