Fortunately I saw this before I got too involved with PEAR::MDB2.  I'll 
give ADOdb a spin and see if it's easier to install and use.  I'm 
guessing it probably is, based on how many open-source projects have 
used it.  PEAR is a pain.  Thanks, Crisses.  --Ben
