Hey Jon,

I also had a few problems with blogsimple2. It's not that it didn't work
'out of the box', but I was annoyed with all the extra pages and groups.
As we speak, I'm coding a variation that:
a) makes you specify which groups are blogs, (and allows you to specify
wildcarded pagenames to be included/excluded from the blog).
b) creates an ARCHIVE page in each individual blog instead of a group,
c) lets you add comments in -talk pages that don't show up in list=blog
or list=normal (thereby organizing each blog ENTIRELY in its own Group)
d) doesn't necessarily require page variables for sorting.

This allows each blog to be viewed separately by group, or together, in
any way your pagelist-ed mind can handle. It also only requires about 3
pages in Site.... Site.BlogGroupHeader, Site.BlogGroupFooter,
Site.BlogListTemplates.

Despite the changes, your code was the most suitable of the blog scripts
up there, so thanks!!!
