2) No (it seems) :
I'd just disabled this, and enabled Diag

PageIndex doesn't seem to be enabled by default in PmWiki 2.1.27 
Am I rigth ?

Also, I think that $EnablePageIndex is set to 1 by
default, so no additional setting in config.php is necessary.
