Thanks for the replies on and offline re "Integrating email & a (private)
wikigroup". Apparently the plans are now to experiment with integrating a
Google group with a wikigroup. Will probably have more on that soon.

Here is another set of questions, but relating to translating what the user
encounters on the screen:

1) Although it is technically not "translating," the capacity - as I
understand it - for the wiki to display commands in the default language of
the user's system (when the appropriate i18n files are on the server) is
something I want to try implementing. At present I can't seem to find the
lines for the config or group.php files to implement this feature.

2) Translating page content with an offsite online machine translation
service. There was an unsuccessful attempt to use the Google page
translation service to this end on one page. Not sure what the problem was.
Does anyone have experience applying MT to PmWiki pages?
2a) Can it be done on the sidebar, kind of like the "backlinks" feature that
gives the backlinks to the active page and not the sidebar (i.e., a
translation button in the sidebar to translate the current page)?

Thanks.
