[pmwiki-users] PmWiki and Spam

PmWiki is undergoing a sustained spam attach.

I'd like to note the work of XES, Petko, and Anno amongst other in fixing it.

I'd also like to suggest that perhaps we should bow to the inevitable
an implement a captcha, or a more effective way of stopping spam.

I recently had to protect my last 'open' wiki with a public password,
and it solved all the spam postings
