That is an impossible question to answer, because "useful" depends
on what people use PmWiki for, and PmWiki is so flexible that it
can be used for a great many things.

What is more relevant to your needs is to actually say what you
want and need to do with PmWiki, what kind of recipes you would
therefore need, and allow people to comment on that subset of recipes.

First, any recipe written by PM himself is most likely to be stable and
maintained and/or a core candidate. Thus, with the different form
systems, I've chosen to use PmForms, because it is the one written by PM.

If a recipe doesn't actually list a maintainer, then it's likely not
maintained! Sometimes that's okay, if the recipe page is more of a
how-to than a plugin, since the recipe in that case is more like a
starting point for how to custom-configure your wiki.

If a recipe does list a maintainer, then the advice to look at how
active the maintainer is on pmwiki.org and/or on this list, that seems
like good advice to me. After all, a recipe may not have a lot of
activity on it simply because it's pretty stable and does what is
required, but if the maintainer of the recipe is active here on the
list, then they're more likely to be able to help if you need help with
it.

The list of recipes I myself maintain are in my profile:

List the tasks you need, and we will have a better chance of answering.
