[pmwiki-users] ldap connection string

using the softerra  ldap browser I have this string for a typical user

ldap://gsuadmin2.govst.edu:389/CN=b-crooks,OU=Faculty&Staff,DC=GOVST,DC=
EDU

I have tried many different combination for connection, yet all have
failed
