That's easy. Put (:linebreaks:) before the section of text that you want to observe newlines, and (:nolinebreaks:) after.

(:linebreaks:)
These lines
will display on separate lines
(:nolinebreaks:)
and these lines
will appear on a single line.

Remember to use the (:nolinebreaks:) directive to return PmWiki to its usual behavior - it's easy to forget.
