In your examples here, the first one does not render the same way as the 
second one unless the viewer has a very narrow window. I was suggesting 
that if there was some kind of "right margin" CSS code (I know virtually 
nothing about CSS, a possible source of confusion) then the two first 
examples above could render more or less the same. The right margin would 
force the third element to wrap before it hit the edge of the window.

But, if what you *really* want is to control where the line breaks occur, 
then your second example seems to be the best way to do it to me.

Your third example reminds me of some horrors I have seen in 
word-processing programs where users have built tables using spaces rather 
than tabs or table-tools.  ;-)
