Because there may be browsers that don't recognize hitting Enter
in a single input field form as meaning "submit this form" -- i.e.,
such browsers require a submit button to be available.  I know this
used to be true for several browsers (especially text-based ones),
but I don't know if this is still the case.

I don't know if it's consistent with the intended purpose, but it's
certainly consistent with what most of us would expect to happen.
Having PmWiki return with some sort of "this page already exists"
error isn't exactly what I want to do here...

Somehow (:editpage:) sounds to me like it should provide a form or 
link for editing the current page, not a jumpbox for editing some
other page.
