Yes, the entire function, a patched version of that
function is supplied in the grepsearch.php script.

Yes, I don't know if it is worth using any more.  I am
not that intimate with the indexing systems (I
understand the pagelist indexing, but I don't know how
the search term indexing works).

But, ...since you ARE asking about it, does this mean
that you are not satisfied with the current search
speeds that you are getting?  If so, then it might be
worth trying the recipe to see if it still improves
things and if so, let me know, I will consider
updating it to the recent pmwiki code.

It has not been updated in a long time (since before
the indexing system), but it would not take a lot to
update it, the comments should indicate where the
actual patches to the MakePagelist function are, a
more recent function could easily be similarly
patched.

Again, if you can demonstrate a need for this recipe
still, I would be willing to help with this.  The
hardest part would be in the testing, ... if you are
willing to help with that...  Also, if you can
demonstrate that it no longer provides an improvement,
I will deprecate it.
