Slightly off topic...
Both native and non-native English speakers may enjoy reading 
the feng shui detective series by Nury Vittachi, featuring
feng shui master and consulting detective CF Wong and his
various friends and rivals, all of whom speak different, and
sometimes mutually incomprehensible, versions of English.
