[pmwiki-users] A Would it Work? Question

It's late at "night," and I've been thinking again. I looked at the 
files in wiki.d earlier and it seems like this might work, but I know 
nothing how PmWiki really works.

Suppose I create a Page1 in group Alpha which uses :include: to include 
information from several pages also named Page1 in other groups. On the 
server I would then copy Alpha/Page1 to Alpha/Page2 and, with an editor 
(like sed), change any references to Page1 in the file to Page2. If I 
then create a link in the wiki to Alpha/Page2, would the page exist?

If this would work, it would be very easy to write a little shell script 
to create the 271 pages that I need. And to create the corresponding 
pages in the other groups with their data.

Being lazy, I thot I would ask before trying it. Thanks for your help!
