I have slept over the proposal and implemented it. While I don't think 
it's good practice to omit (:input end:), I realised that that's just a 
question of personal style, and people should be free to choose the 
style that suits them best (this is closer to the Wiki Nature anyway).

I'm still not sure where I should hook myself to emit the final </form> 
- the recipe knows perfectly well when one is outstanding, but it 
doesn't get called when the page text is finished. (This is a more 
general problem; more on that in a separate post.)
