I should mention that I'm still working on a tentative description, it's 
just going *very* slowly. Here's the page:

PS. This might be a temporary fix:

* An item
* A long list item [=
here I contineu the text since it is within "quotes"
=]
* A third item.

The drawback here is of course that you can't put any markup inside... so 
maybe in addition to [=...=] and [@...@] we need another markup for 
nesting general stuff...
