Did you mean Documents.RecentPages here, or Documents.RecentChanges?

When you say "the ghost page still showed up on searches" -- 
what exactly do you mean?  Do you mean that Documents.ConversionTools
is still showing up in searches?  How exactly was Documents.ConversionTools
"deleted"?
