It would seem this problem (obsolete content) could be solved by simply
mentioning the need to delete the page in the ReleaseNotes.  Then, while
not automatic, it is simply a part of the installation process which seems
very appropriate to me...

I would agree with Simon that the ideal would be to redirect for an
appropriate period of time followed by full deletion.  Unfortunately this
means more work for you, Petko, redirecting while releasing as well as
keeping track for a future removal.  A simple PmWiki.RemovedPages
referenced from PmWiki.ReleaseNotes would do it, but it is an additional
step and I don't pretend that is small, particularly in light of all the
rest you do for PmWiki...  Maybe we could double or triple your salary? :-)
